Summer days call for cold and refreshing fuel, especially after a hot run or sweaty yoga session. This smoothie is full of hydrating fruit and veggies, avocado for potassium, and protein for muscle recovery. Basically summer in a bowl, the tangy, low-sugar base is topped with a lemon performance bar to add some texture and sweetness.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup chopped then frozen zucchini
- ¾ cup frozen raspberries
- ¼ avocado
- ¼ cup coconut yogurt or coconut cream
- 1 sprig of fresh mint
- 1 cup water
- juice from ¼ lemon
- 1 scoop collagen protein (optional)
- 1 lemon performance bar
Directions:
Blend all ingredients besides performance bar in a high-powered blender until smooth. Chop performance bar into bite-sized pieces for topping.
