Raspberry Mint Performance Bowl Recipe by Liz Harroun

Summer days call for cold and refreshing fuel, especially after a hot run or sweaty yoga session. This smoothie is full of hydrating fruit and veggies, avocado for potassium, and protein for muscle recovery. Basically summer in a bowl, the tangy, low-sugar base is topped with a lemon performance bar to add some texture and sweetness.


  • 1 cup chopped then frozen zucchini
  • ¾ cup frozen raspberries
  • ¼ avocado
  • ¼ cup coconut yogurt or coconut cream
  • 1 sprig of fresh mint
  • 1 cup water
  • juice from ¼ lemon
  • 1 scoop collagen protein (optional)
  • 1 lemon performance bar


Blend all ingredients besides performance bar in a high-powered blender until smooth. Chop performance bar into bite-sized pieces for topping.
