EPIC bar has made the finalist list for top Savory Snack in the Specialty Food Association’s 2015 Sofi™ Award competition.

A Sofi is the top honor in the $109 billion specialty food industry. “Sofi” stands for Specialty Outstanding Food Innovation and represents the best of the best from members of the Specialty Food Association.

EPIC's new Chicken Sesame BBQ bar was one of 125 Finalists selected by a national panel of specialty food experts from 2,715 entries across 32 Awards categories including Outstanding Chocolate, Cheese, and Savory Snack. Winners will be announced June 29, 2015, by Ted Allen, host of Food Network’s Chopped, at a red-carpet ceremony at the Summer Fancy Food Show in New York City.

“We are super pumped to have made the finalist list," says Taylor Collins, Co-found of EPIC Provisions. "The Chicken Sesame BBQ Bar is near and dear to the heart of my love/Co-founder Katie Forrest. The inspiration for the product came to us on during our 3 week honeymoon in which we rode bikes across Thailand. We fueled our adventures with fantastic thai style stir fry that is now captured in our first ever chicken product," says Collins.
