MEATCAST - EPISODE 7

MEATCAST - EPISODE 7

In this week’s Meatcast, we explore the grass-fed dairy side of the Regenerative Ag movement and talk to Tim Joseph, founder of Maple Hill Creamery. Maple Hill is one of the fastest growing yogurt brands in the country, but more importantly, is leading the charge and having an incredible impact on the domestic grass-fed dairy supply.  In fact, they were actually the first brand that exposed me to grass-fed dairy when I first dipped my toes in the paleo pool years ago.

This was a really fun conversation for me because Tim isn’t someone that speaks in quotable press-releases.  He’s incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, but also authentic and engaging.  Think y’all will really enjoy hearing about the following, and plenty more!

  • Tim leaving his corporate 9-to-5 gig to become a dairy farmer
  • The explosion of Greek Yogurt and why it’s expensive to produce
  • Why sometimes seeing “Grass-Fed” on a label isn’t good enough
  • The role of dairy in the regenerative agriculture movement

For this week’s Inside EPIC, we explore the 50 shades of Shawn Gray.  A man of many interests and talents, Shawn’s hands touch almost every epicbar.com order that leaves our warehouse.  Listen to Shawn explain how an epicbar.com order gets from Austin to your house and why there might be a picture of Celine Dion on the box (hint: it's not Because You Loved Me).
