Chicken Fat Gravy
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons EPIC Duck Fat
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup EPIC Chicken Broth
- Cracked Pepper
Directions:
In a saucepan, melt down the duck fat. Slowly add the flour while stirring constantly with a wooden spoon or whisk. Stir for a few minutes until a roux forms that puffs slightly. Then slowly add the broth while continuing to stir. If the gravy is too thick, add more broth. If the gravy is too thin after cooking for 10 minutes, add more flour. Once you are happy with the consistency of your gravy, season with pepper to taste, and enjoy! Store leftover gravy covered, in the refrigerator.
